Fit new pump seal on the slinger bush with the carbon thrust face towards the thrust face of the disc (Part No. A026 E 6127Z), so that they are in abutment to each other. The rubber face of the disc is nearest to the impeller, Press assembly into housing.

4. With a second operator inside the car, fully depress the pedal and check total movement at lever end does NOT exceed .73 in. (18.54mm.) NOTE: Illustration should be amended to delete the turnbuckle on the cable and to a locknut outboard of the existing nut.
