I only recommend Sea Foam. I use it in all my MG and my Lotus. Harmless to the fuel lines and engine, removes carbon gently. I use a bottle every 2000 miles more or less.

I've been using Valve-Guard (ELF). Bought quite cheap from fleabay. Cannot say it is better or worse than any of the others, but as it comes from ELF I guess it must have some sort of credibility.
The only reason I use it is to create the 100 Octane fuel for which the engine was designed.
Maybe I'm just kidding myself but the engine seems to perform much better when dosed-up.

Stuart,
I could not find the link to what I bought and the name does not compute in eBay at this time. However, there appears to be a good deal going on a Texaco product that should be OK.

I'm with elansprint, Castrol Valvemaster Plus, valve seat protection (not that I'm convinced you need it with a twink) plus an octane boost. Comes out well in independent tests and is far far cheaper than Millers because of the mixing ratio.
The best of course is real lead (so Tetraboost these days) but if you want something cheap and easy it's got to be Valvemaster Plus

I used to use Castrol ValveMaster with Octane boost but still suffered Valve Seat regression (I didn't have hardened seats in those days). Have used tetraboost ever since)
