Lost all electrics..

Hi there - my first post.

Just been out to start the car after a few weeks out of action. Started first time and all looking good but then it died as I gave it too much gas before it was ready. At this point I lost all electrics - where's the best place to start ( battery is connected !). BTW mine is a plus 2/130s.

Loss of all electrics would indicate battery. First place to look would be the earth connection in boot where it connects to chassis/body mounting point
