S1 Windscreen Fit...

Is this normal?
The top corners of the Pilkington windscreen are gappy.
If I decide that I care, it's an easy fix by changing the shape of the opening before re-spraying it black. It hardly ever rains here during the Lotus season.

There was a post this last year about the two distinct sizes. The smaller one, was a newer batch Pilkington had made. I think the new ones are now correct.
Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!

As mentioned last year, Pilkington have 3 screen references for the years 1962 to 1965. In theory S1, S2 and S3. There are some big differences as far as I could see between S1 and S2.
I have an original S1 screen frame and now have the S1 screen (from Pilkington), but have not got round to the stage of seeing if they fit properly.
I'm hoping that the fit will be a fraction better.
Good luck !

George, I assume you built up the frame with fiberglass. Just corner's??
