wiper motor mounting bushes

Hi OL.

The bushes have to be pressed into the bracket holes until the circumferential groove around the midsection of the gush,captures the bracket sheet metal.

With a washer and nut on one end of the bush and the motor on the other end, the motor is completely isolated from the bracket, so should be relatively quiet.

Yes, they are fitted as Bill mentioned above.
If you are trying to figure out how to get them into the bracket, it is nearly impossible without lubricating them. After multiple attempts to push them in dry resulting in some very sore fingertips, I applied some silicone lubricant meant for o-rings on them and they pressed in quite easily. You can buy small tubes of this lubricant at your local hardware store in the plumbing department.

Warm them up in near-boiling water and use washing up liquid as your lubricant. They will fit very easily once they are soft.
