But I do think this is taking it a bit to far. Would you do this to your Elan or is it just a very good computer generated image?

I too saw that Carl. I concluded it was definitely computer generated. The wheels aren't right and the screen is too deep. The shut lines are too close!

Body also seems a bit high on the chassis... but you could probably get an Elan 'wrapped' in gold film.
Impressive computer rendering with all those reflections.

It's easy to computer generate a stationary car. The reflections, light flares, shadows, etc are all simple effects with the right software. You will also note the video category it's in is animation.

there are lots of videos of people playing the game Forza and modifying elans and elevens on the most awful ways. Watch some if you want to become disenfranchised with todays youth.
here's a particularly enraging one:

His voice sounds like he's around 30, but his attitude and comments prove that he is 12.

You know you have a good car when your wife hates it.

I should have just accepted your admonition and not clicked on the link. However, click I did. I miss the early days of computing when CPU time and disc space we're not considered free commodities. People like this used to be banished for wasting value CPU cycles. Perhaps I will add a little badge to my Elite saying "powered by Coventry Climax FWH" (feather weight hamster).
