S4 Bonnet release cable

The 1969 S4 I bought had the bonnet release cable clipped to the bulkhead in the engine bay, with two of those stainless brake clips. Was this how they were or has it been modified?
Anyone with a photo?
thanks

I know this doesn't answer your question but FWIW I have my cable arranged as pictured.
Not standard I know but it always seems happier and seems to work better when allowed to follow a more natural curve

My '72 car's arrangement looked like that; before I threw it in the skip. Interestingly the 72 set-up did not work at all (and the bonnet opened when driving at 100mph), whilst the 69 cable-routing opens when the handle is pulled (don't know how it performs when the car is being driven, yet
