Hi
Has anyone got or can take one and post on here a picture of their +2 battery clamp?
Mine is missing and I want to replace it with something that looks original.
I can't find a pic of it in the Workshop manual or the Parts Manual
Thanks
Jason

Jason here are some pics of the battery clamp on my car. You should be able to determine the major dimensions from the included scale. The material thickness is about 0.1". Some PO has rivetted a plate over half the stud slotted hole at some time I dont know why.
Hope this helps.

Just like a good bus service, two come along at once! Mine looks a little different, and it's the same as the clamp in my 2 seaters. I'm pretty sure that they are still available from the usual suspects....in black rather than the appealing rust colour.

Is it my imagination or does Richard's clamp look like a seat hold down bracket off the two seater Elan?
My Sprints battery bracket is the same as Marks.

Thanks guys.
I contacted PM but they are out of stock at the moment, they are hoping to get them in soon. I just thought if it was like the Mini clamp that I could speed things up.
I'll just have to wait
It looks like it bolts through into the floor, I don't think I have a captive nut in the floor? Any chance of a pic with it bolted in-situ so I know where to look?
Thanks

The bobin for the battery clamp bolt is just to the left of where the battery sits....
