Elan +2 Alloy Wheels

Hello all,

I'm based in Cheshire in the UK and am getting a bit Pat and Mick of phoning round places trying to get my Alloy wheels rebuilt and polished/painted. Currently they are at a place in Stoke that told me they would have no problem whatsoever. They've since come back to me (3 weeks later!) and told me they're actually Magnesium Alloy. I'm pretty certain they're not (they're the normal +2 ally wheels) so will be racing round to pick them up before they get damaged.

So has anyone in my area had work done on this type of wheel....?

Please save me some agro. If I hear another bloke suck air between his teeth when they find out what car they're off I may scream.
