Hi all
I have to change tyres on my +2 130 , they are absolutely new but 15 years old without working i thinks it's better whay to change them...
actual size are 185 /70/13 on genuine 5.5 x13 wheels ,
185/70 tyres looks a little bit fat and there's not enouth clearance with inner front wings
I think 175 70 13 H tyres should be better and find these budget but period look tyres:
https://www.mobilemech.fr/cgi-bin/rshop ... n=So&m_s=3
what do you think about best tyre size for a +2 and my tyre choice ?
thanks

Original fit was 165/82/13 It was specially produced, the nearest available to that oddball 82 profile is https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classi ... as-ff.html
Note the diameter of the original 82 profile tyre was 610mm, the 165/80 profile is 601, but your 185/70 tyres are 587mm, so that’s 23mm shorter overall (nearly an inch).
I don’t t think theres a lot of choice for 13 inch rims, I run 14 inch with 185/65 they fill the arches nicely and no rubbing ( maybe a tad on full lock).

A suitable sized tyre I believe is the specially made Blockley.
It's the right size for the +2 and the correct rating being H rated. It is also a cost effective price but no-one on here seems to talk about it much for some reason?
The only other 165/80/13 H rated tyre that is available I think is the Michelin XAS which is obviously a very good tyre but is nearly three times the price of the Blockley!
