Hi
After my shake down drive yesterday I decided to check the wobbly nearside wheel.. suspecting bearing
This is what came out... I had to cut the outer bearing off !

wasnt noisy until last mile at 10 mph ...squeeled a little... and then on bumpy tarmac it clunked....

When one of the Europa posters bought his car, he found the DPO had carefully lubricated all wheel bearings with anti-seize compound. Sounds like a good idea, right? Wouldn't want your bearings to seize...
Perhaps he then moved on to an Elan?
