Revolution wheels

I am intrigued that I rarely see a mention of Revolution wheels here on the Elan forum. I have a set for my car and plan on using them in my 26R style conversion. (for road use) The wheels are fairly light at 9.75lbs (13x6) and look quite similar to the original 26R wheels. I used to have a shed full of original 26R wheels but sold them years ago with another ex racer Elan I owned.
Why not use proper 26R wheels? Because of the ridiculous cost of them is the simple answer! I think that because they are required by FIA the suppliers realise they have a captive market and charge the maximum they think they can get away with. Five hundred quid each is not something I am prepared to support.
I would be happy to be proved wrong.

Greg: This is the wheel Revolution makes specifically for the 26R-it is also available (for much less money) with four bolt fixing for the regular Elan and that is what I have-

I have a nice set of these wheels (5 inch I think) - didn't know when I bought them that they need adaptors required for Elan KO hubs - anyone thinking of buying will need some of these.
Does anyone know how to obtain them?!

I have a set of these that I bought secondhand a few years ago for my Plus 2. They came off a Plus 2, and fitted perfectly (6 x 14) with the adapters.
There are three parts to mine
Wheel
Adapter
Steel chromed collar.
There is a 4th part which I don't have, and that's the tool to fit and remove the adaper, although I think it would be fairly simple to get one made up.
My concern with the wheels is getting the adaptor on tight enough in the first place, considering how tight the spinner has to be. And then, how the hec do you get them off? I would imagine that could get tricky!! That's why my wheels sit looking very pretty in the garage rather than on the car. For me, they are by far the best looking aftermarket wheels for an Elan.
Here are some pictures of the bits, including a grotty picture of the adapter tool, which at least shows how it works.

So that's how the revolution 4 spokes fit then.
I saw this the other day after happening to look at the revolution site to see about my bolt on ones I want to get shot of and saw they do Elan spec centre lock 13 inch wheels which I never knew about.
They don't mention an adaptor or anything on the site.

Hmmmmmmm, interesting. I recently bought a second-hand set of the five-spoke type, I think in 13x5, which just came with the collars. I haven't test-fit them yet, so I hope I don't need the adapters too as none were included and the guy I spoke with at Revolution didn't mention them when I enquired about new collars, as some of mine fell out of the box in shipment (new collars are NLA, not made since the '80s, GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!).
Looks like I'm off to the machinist to have some new collars made.

I also have a used set with the collars but I'm missing the adapters. I don't where to find them either. If I could send you a deposit, would you send me one adapter that i would return. I would bring that adapter to my favorite machine shop to have a set made.

I'm looking for a set of adapters as well (no urgent matter, though, my rims have been sitting for quite a while so can sit a bit longer...)
I've asked the company about these extenders earlier this month, here is their reply :
Hi Nic,
The parts you require for old Lotus Elan are no longer available as our new wheel doesn?t require any form of adapter, the old wheel was last made in 1992.
With best regards.
I'm sure there would be a use for a small batch of well made extenders (appropriate material since there is a safety issue with wheels, correct tolerances and dimensions... - and including the holes for tightening I understand)
