14 x 5.5 minlites on S4

I am having tyre contact on rear arches with 14 inch by 6 Minilites and 175 x 60 x 14 tyres. Has anybody got any of these 14 inch by 5.5 Minilites fitted with success. I realise this is a bit of a jar of worms with body shape and position on chassis. I am in discussion with the supplier at the moment. Any feedback appreciated. I need to keep to 14 for sake of larger front brakes plus all that business at the back end with the A frames. Been there done that in the past with Minlites. Thanks Mike

Mike,

I have 14 x 5.5 Minilites on the +2 - if you fancy a run up you could try them on your car and see if they work.

Alternatively I could put it back on the steels and let you try the set?

Hi Jon,

I have it on the EZ lift with the back springs out so can move the wheels in and out of the arch to test so if I could get my hands on one for half an hour it would be good to try out. Have you got 5?
I have a spare tin from the Plus 2 and also the Plus 2 alloy wheels. (14 x 6 which fit the Plus 2 with no problem). Will ring you.

Spyder machine rear hubs to inset the wheels a little. It was not quite enough with my 6x14s so I'm fitting 26R arches and new TTR hubs. I've still got the machined hubs if your'e interested.
