Paint Recommendation for S3 Knock on Wheels?

Hi Folks
I think I'll give my S3's wheels some tlc next weekend. They're looking a bit tatty with some dots of surface rust.
Brian Buckland says you will be amazed at the finish you will get from shot blasting then DIY spray cans of primer, undercoat, chrome silver and a clear laquer top coat. Colour should be same as the bumpers.
However for just a quick tart-up - i.e. light sand by hand then a coat of paint over the top - what's the consensus on the best paint to use?
I'm a fan of smooth Hammerite on painted wheels so will go that way unless you guys know better.
Cheers,
Steve

The Wurth "Wheel Silver" works really well. They also sell a clear coat.
