Minilite question

The more observant among you will notice that I have been trying to find a better spare wheel for my car, mine being scrap
It looks like it's going to be a problem. ......
This set me thinking about alternatives and I have wondered about Minilites. My question is do any of you chaps know if 13x5 minilites with 155/80x13 tyres will fit inside standard S4 arches with standard springs? I'm thinking a half inch on the rim with standard tyres shouldn't make much difference; but what do I know?
I don't want to start bashing spring platforms or weakening the wheel arches
Thanks

Hi John,
I bought new minilites, 13x5 for a S2 elan, fitted 155x80x13 tires and they fit (posted elsewhere for someone), but they were very close to the standard spring mounts. Cleared the fenders, although it appears not by much! Note bolt on hubs not knock offs. Had to grind the susp. bolt heads to clear rim inner but this is normal for minilites. I imagine if the tires clear an S2 they should clear an S4 Offset for knock offs should be the same I presume... as the unused k/o hubs in the shed look to have the same flange location but I didn't measure them.

While I can't comment on Minilites, I can confirm that steel 13x5's with 165/75's fit quite happily under S4 guards as that is what was on my S4 when I acquired it.
I have since replaced them, but it had nothing to do with fit or fouling...

Thanks for the replies chaps
Looks like they will be tight, but should fit .......... unless someone knows better of course?
I'd be somewhat miffed if I spent ?500 on a set and then couldn't use them
