Susan Miller does them on an exchange basis and I am more than happy with mine.

Hi Colin
With Sue Millers exchange scheme she'll send you the reconditioned wheel nuts before you return your old ones. The advantages of this are that your car's not on blocks while you're waiting for the plater to return items and also, if your in anyway dissatisfied with the quality of work, you can simply return the reconditioned nuts and get your money back.

Hi, mine were very badly beaten up.
I spent approximately 1.5 hours per spinner with a variety of files to reshape. Then off to Derby for polishing and rechroming. They made a superb job.
My only advice would be that you may need to spend time cleaning out the threads - bits of plating were left inside the spinners.

Just to add to Gerry's comments, Derby did all the fettling and re shaping on mine and made a superb job - ?35 each + VAT for a complete refurb and plate which in hindsight is actually rather good value (door frames, well that a different story )
But Gerry makes a very important point regarding the threads which I forgot to mention. I spent the best part of a day cleaning and carefully lapping them back on to the hub threads and what a bu66er of a job
If I took further work back I would specifically instruct them to make sure the threads were protected in some way to stop the copper plate blinding them.

Tony,
My reckoning too until I discovered that properly refurbished originals are far superior to repro items.
I am now a converted to the wisdom that it is better to spend the same or perhaps even slightly more on refurbing original parts than buying repro which is often of dubious quality. Master cylinders and servo's are another case in point.
