I have had this Octogonal wheel spinner tool made, but now I don't know where to put it, it just seems too pretty to lay in the boot with the spare tire.
What do you think?

I think if you have a flat tyre and are stuck in the rain on a deserted road then you ARE going to use it got to say it looks good though
PS. Think you need to get the bar that fits into it renovated......looks a little grotty
PPS. Another suggestion would be to fit a tyre onto the wheel as it would be a bumpy ride without it

Sorry Garry the rear wheel bearing tool is only a section of pipe with cut outs in it, but it is stainless though.
Yes I will work on the rod, maybe I should get it chromed...

Hi Jannik, It's a thing of beauty and it does not scratch the chrome! Where to place it? I put my three eared spinner tool on the coffee table as a conversation piece and nobody could identify its use.
You should market them as I get emails asking if I have an octacon type tool.

Jannick, Did you end up making a version with a hex shaft, so that it can be used with a torque wrench? Thanks, Dan

Well, if you don't want to put it in your boot I think I could find a place for it in mine
Very nice work.
Would be cool if it doubled up as the petrol filler cap.

Hi Dan
I have only made one tool with a hex, so that I could see what it was like.
I tried to first tighten the wheels with the ?rod-tool? and after wards with the ?hex-tool? and a torque wrench, and there wasn't much difference. The wheel nuts just tightens to a certain level and then go no further.
But I can have some more made if anyone are interested.
They would look like the one in this picture and cost about ?65 or 80 euro.

Hi
I still have a few spinner tools for the octagonal spinners if any body is in need of a Christmas present.
They are 80 euro, 70? or 90$ incl. bag but less postage.
Send me a PM or drop a line here if you are interested.
Cheers
