octaganal wheel nuts

Just came to remove wheels for tyre replacement,rears came off ok,but have removed not long ago.Fronts wont budge though,probly been on a while,my wheel spanner not up to job,its bending.Irang Mattys who sell a heavy duty job for 58 pound.Any comments or ideas before i go buy?

I use the Paul Matty spanner with no problems whatsoever.
If you are keen to get the correct torque just use your own weight and mark the correct distance on the handle of the spanner (ie if you weigh 100 lbs mark the handle at 2 feet from the nut centre) and stand on the spanner when it is in a horizontal position.
