+2S130 tyre pressures

PostPost by: thor » Tue Jul 25, 2006 1:59 pm

this old chestnut again...

Just want a quick advice.. I don't do any track days, don't do much over 70-80mph (as the speed limit here in Norway is 55-60, with SEVERE tickets), and have new Firestone FS590 165/80R13...

I just can't seem to get happy, any good advice?

I run 22 psi front and 26 psi rear (normally) - manual says 20/24 i believe.

After much experimentation for normal road use I also run 22psi front and 26psi rear.

Checked 22/26 tyre pressures before setting off, windows rolled down, with 24 degrees in the evening, down some winding roads from a hill pop-pop-popping on a trailing throttle in third, before naling it through a fast sweeping left-hander, perfect balance and the Firestones behaving impeccably. :D this is the good life. ..
