New K/O wheels - for the dustbin - sorry -wheels not hubs

PostPost by: Emma-Knight » Thu Jun 15, 2006 1:12 pm

 Just received the new produced K/O's - the manufacturing
/tooling quality is ...uuuuuh! Peg holes look like stamped with a no more
round tool or dead drill. Even the pegs (loose clean ones) don't go in - the holes are not round. Powdercating is off at the rims (might be from transportation) and one spinner seat has a 1mm deep axial cut line at the hole stamping, which could be a little stress riser...
The face towards the hub (round the peg hole flat) is not flat seat.

I have one original wheel and that is sooooo much better - after all its hard working life. I go for the old ones!

Remark: It might be different producers for these wheels an some might be good quality. Just these are not. They were not bouhgt in GB but I don't think there are so many producers for these things.

PS: tried to add pictures but it doesn't work today.

Hi Anna,

Where did you buy these from? You can email me privately at [email protected] if you prefer not to name the supplier on the forum.
