Tires

Thanks for the advice everybody. Looks like the Michelins are the tires to have. This hesitancy stems from putting a set of Khumos on my Miata and being so disappointed with the elastic sidewalls. I tend to drive the Elan fairly aggressively. Couldn't find Perellis anywhere.

Just an aside, no real relevance here- I used to have a VW Mk IV GTI with the sport-package wheels. I put some Kumhos on it once when money was tight and they were so short-lived that one set of the nice Michelins would have saved money long-term over the two sets of Kumhos that it would have taken to equal the mileage I got from one set of Michelins.

No relationship other than customer. Lots of tires in the correct size. Some made in China and some in the USA and other places.

I have bought about 5 sets from these guys.

Grew up in Kenmore. Might be home at Christmas. We'll see how the virus situation is.

Plugging in the 165 size for the Plus 2, I only saw two tires and both were whitewall types, and the Goodrich had nice W I D E bands of white! :mrgreen:
