My november 1969 manufactured LHD Federal +2 No. 2060 had a Chapman wheel. It was in such terrible condition including a broken spoke I have installed a moto lita.

My cars both have unsigned wheels, the later 130/5 is black, the earlier (chassis 501832 reg 29/8/1969) is silver. I suspect that both are original.

Does anyone have contact details for this repairer, or the details of another repairer or a supplier of a good cover to install as a DIY
Thanks

Hi Tony,

I don't know if this will help you but I recently had mine repaired and refurbished by Jerry at Lancaster vintage and classic spares in Morecambe in Lancashire (UK). Tel: 01524 423453. Mine was bent and snapped by the two upper spokes. I suspect a previous owner used it one to many times hoisting themselves out of the car. Jerry got it re-welded and covered in leather. The results can be seen below.

Hope it helps,

Pete
