New steel wheels SteelSport Wheels of Tamworth

I understand that Sue Miller is the outlet through which Steelsport Wheels of Tamworth sells their “new” Elan and Plus 2 steel wheels. From looking at her web site it seems that the only has elan wheels available at this time. I contacted Steelsport and they mentioned that they had no firm plans to run another batch of Plus 2 wheels at this time, but that anything was possible.
Can anybody comment on the quality of the Plus 2 wheels that Sue was selling from SteelSport? Are they worth seeing if we can get another batch built?
I have an email message into Ms. Miller and am awaiting a response. if she chooses not to sponsor another batch is there any interest in trying to put together a “group buy”?
Thanks
Nick

Nick,
I realise that you are in the USA and that a phone call to Sue may be difficult, but I have always had better response from Sue by phone.

I saw a delivery of the wheels and thought them of good quality. I think they were the Elan ones and the majority were presold. They are a bit more robust (heavier) than original. It was a while ago -I think she gets a delivery and then sends batches off for paint. I've generally found an email (eg a list of parts) and then a follow up call works very well - generally better in the morning (UK) as the afternoon is dedicated to assembling the orders and getting them sent.

It must be a couple of years ago that I bought eight Elan wheels from Sue. One wheel wasn't quite right, but she replaced it immediately.
The wheels are slightly heavier, but original Elan wheels always seem a little too light to me. More importantly, my cars run smoothly at high speed.
