Michelin Facil Tyre pressure tester

PostPost by: Pistacchio sprint 72 » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:30 am

Funny little collectable item from 1960 with a bakelite body and aluminium head. I just got it and need to test it. I beleive some kind of metallic tube should stick out of the head and indicate the tyre pressure on the scale.

It is delivered in a plastic tube, sometimes in aluminium tubes.

It is fun to put in the elan glove box or ashtray vintage items from the old days....

An old Michelin map from 1970 of my area or any area in fact would look funny too in the glove box...

This one, still in Red bakelite, is somehow more standard in the Way you Can read the tyre pressure.
