Team Dynamic Wheels to fit ?lan M100 (1991)

Sorry, it's a newbie posting a 'will these wheels fit' thread Apologies if I'm in the wrong place, or this post is frowned upon, I'm just trying to help someone out....

The wheels in question are Team Dynamic Jets and sizes are:

Rim size - 17"
Rim width - 7j
38mm offset
And stud size 4x100/108

It's the offset that concerns me as i think the offsets should be 60mm(?) - I don't understand enough about offsets though to know whether this difference can be overcome in any way?
