The original tyres were 145/85 13.
I was told recently that 85 profile tyres are no longer made and the nearest is 80 profile.
You may find stockists that still have 85 profile, however.

Hello Colin,
For what it's worth; I just put on 155/80/13 on my S2, although a bit of a pedestrian tread design it is the only thing I could find (without importing?), they do fit, but note they are very close to the rear spring support (stock size springs, not the smaller spring units) and because of that I chose not to try a wider but lower aspect ratio. Besides, I kind of like the skinny tire look as per original. (on stock wheels) Note I am in n.a. 145's were not available.

Colin, - update...
I recently purchased a set of new minilites, 5 inch width (can't get 4.5) and installed the same 155/80/13 tires as were on the stock wheels. The tires still clear, note however some material removal of the suspension bolt heads is required to clear the thicker rim of the aluminum wheel, which is common practice. (Mine are bolt on wheels.)
