Alloy carrier corrosion

I would like to paint an alloy bearing carrier to prevent corrosion and dissimilar metal electrolysis.
I would like to use an aerosol can of zinc chromate primer and an aluminum colored paint top coat. On internal machined areas where steel bolts pass I plan on using zinc anti seize without paint.
Has anyone done this with an alloy casting? What is needed to prepare the metal and what top coat would be most durable.
Thanks
Bob

Just did this. Cleaned the hub carrier up by bead blasting and wiping down with lacquer thinner then used PPG Clear coat with catalyst. Should clean up easily.
