one more tire and wheel question

So many thanks to everyone for all the advice so far. So many sports cars before, but the Elan is really something. I've been so busy driving it that now I need to pause and fix a couple of minor things before I cause some real trouble. Anyway, tires are next. Seems that consensus is the Bridgestone Potenza RE92. Here's the question: for regular road use, and with original knock offs, is there any real concern of a blowout turning into a rollover? Alternatively, have people added safety beads to their old wheels?
It's a little hard to tell, but I don't think mine have the safety beads. I wouldnt track without them, but wondering about the street...
thanks,
Jeff
