Tyres....

Hi,
I have to replace the tyres on my +2S 130/5 and I'm looking for the best deal in 175/70/R13. There's a lot of choice, it's a hard job to find THE tyre...
Friends (Elan S3 & Seven S3) told me that the Dunlop SP 30 is a good tyre for its value. Another told me to try the Eagle Ventura...
Does someone have a feedback about 'Good Year Eagle Ventura' fitted on a +2 ?
thanks in advance
regards
Jerome

The cheapest supplier I have found by far is mytyres on the web (http://mytyres.co.uk/ ) They evenm have a web site for FRANCE too http://www.123pneus.fr/ they are delivered to your door and admittedly you have to then get them fitted but in my experience normally still a 10 - 15 % saving
Prices like this
Dunlop
Pneus ?t? SP SPORT 200
175/70 R13 82H , Hors Fabrication liste des Prix*: EUR 96,50
Chez 123pneus.com EUR 50,00 (327,98 FF)
Goodyear
Pneus ?t? DuraGrip
175/70 R13 82T en pr?paration liste des Prix*: EUR 57,50
Chez 123pneus.com EUR 51,10 (335,19 FF)
Hope this helps
Cheers

Jerome,
I have now done quite a few miles on my Yokohama A.drives. They have vastly improved road holding and are H rated, in fact I am amazed at the performance and they were only ?25 each. I did have to alter the rear spring perches with a lump hammer ( standard springs).

It was on your recommendation that i got the A Drives Chris, I'm glad you are happy with them!! I'd love the A021Rs that Matt has got but they were beyond my current budget. I got the 4 tyres, fitted and balanced with new tubes for ?120, a bargain me thinks My rear spring pans also needed a slight technical adjustment as well

Hiya
I have just purchased five 175/70r13 Yokohoma A-Drives, based on the advice from on here, from http://www.247ppd.com who are doing them for ?27.75 each ex vat, or ?144.33 delivered. Mind you I am still waiting for them and really need to chase them up. They also do a variety of other sizes in the A-Drive at similar rates.
Hope this helps

Ignore my last post, just chased up 247ppd.com to find out where my order is having placed it last monday to be told that they no longer deal with Yokohama tyres and yet their system accepted my order. SNARL SNARL
Not a happy lotus owner and now off in search of another source for them
Apologies
