Alloy wheels

This weekend at Castle Combe I was asked where I got my Minilite lookalike knock on wheels from. (6J x 14")
They were supplied by "Spyder" & made by "Two Gates".
I believe that they are no longer available.
The questioner mentioned that he preferred the look of them to the ones now being supplied by them from "Minilite".
I also had some very nice split rim Minillite lookalite bolt on wheels fitted to my "Banks" 47R Europa project. (6J x 15")
These wheels came from a Midlands manufacturer called "Image wheels". They also do "Revolution 4 & 5 spoke centres albeit only in bolt on.
I feel sure that being not just a supplier but a manufacturer; it would not be beyond them to produce suitable centres to suit the Elan knock on hubs if you provide them with all of the necessary dimensions.
They make rims in all diameters, centres in all colours & of course being split rims, any offset.

I thought I'd mention this because Alloy wheels has been a recent topic.

Disclaimer:- I have no personal interest in this company.

I've had a couple of Bank's cars John, a 47 and one of Richards 62S's.
My 47 had the same 15" minilites as yours in graphite. (Esprit split rim Essex wheels were used on 62)
Sold the 47 a couple of years back and to be honest now realise it was just a panic sale and quite regret it.

Kenny
PS both cars were VX powered.
