Does anyone know if the pinion bushings and damper are available?

The usual TR places sell just about everything except these items, listed as unavailable. A place in the UK has the seven-gear pinion.

Any shops in the UK or among the owners who might know a person that knows a person?

A last resort would be a machinist. Anyone willing to give that a go? Quite sure you’d have customers.

“Get a used Spitfire one.” Yes, same issue really, worn bits.

“Just get a new one.” Yes, there’s that. Last resort.

Try Kiley-Clinton in the UK, they remanufacture steering racks so should be able to supply the parts you need.
