Tony Thompson 26R steering wheels

OK thanks, I'm still undecided about whether to get one, the P&P is $35 so it's $121 altogether which is approx ?76.30  I'm not sure how much original ones are going for right now because they don't come up for sale very often. Does anyone have one kicking around that they wouldn't mind getting ?50-60 for?

SummerinMaine, you have a 2002 Tii, they're great cars, my friend has a 1968 2002, it was the 36th RHD car produced and believed to be the earliest surviving example in the UK, http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/ ... directlink , it's undergoing some welding at the moment as, not being plastic, it's got a serious case of iron worm. He had a Ti back in California a couple of years ago as he's dual nationality. He keeps quite a nice blog site for his '02 actually (much more updates than mine gets!); http://1968bmw2002.blogspot.com

He's also just inherited a Hudson Super Wasp from his Grandfather-in-Law, it needs a resto but is such a cool looking car.

Quote from elanintheforest last December:
The S3 S/E wheel is one of the rare ones, commanding double the price of the Chapman signature wheel. A mint one sold last year for ?850!

. . . which would put the standard Colin Chapman signature wheel at ?400 or more!
