I am going to try to find a way to measure the height with the body still on. I have a Five foot grade a straight edge which I think I can get in to take some measurements and see if the 2.19 inches is somewhere near.I think the rack will have to come off to facilitate this so might take some time.

G.. Sorry don't know what G is short for;-
To my way of thinking it would be better to do a proper geometry check first?
Doing a lot of work to obtain that measurement seems a lot of work to me and if it doesn't measure what you hope for you will still have to do the geometry check afterwards...

Hi Alan,
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you should change anything with your setup.
A pet project of mine is modelling in CAD the front suspension and one of the elusive parts is determining what the bump toe (if any) was from the factory. I also failed to see that you have a +2 so the geometry will be different to what I have modelled.

Hi MACCA
The shims fitted to my +2 with a OEM chassis are Left 2 shims total = 2.69mm Right 2 shims total = 2.5 mm
Chassis is still original no bump steer

Hi John
Thanks for your reply. All though you have a plus 2 the shims seem more realistic on size and I will check mine to see.
I have contacted Spyder but did not give me an answer to the question but if you bring the chassis in it can be put on our jig (Really) . Not what I wanted to hear but at least they came back to me.
Regards
