Momo Steering wheel

Hi everyone
I was thinking of treating myself to a new Momo Heritage Steering wheel for my recently purchased 1967 S3 Elan. I think it would suit it very well.
I have been looking at boss kits and I have been told (twice by suppliers) that the Momo spitfire boss (MK7800) may not fit. Momo doesn't specifically list a boss for a Lotus Elan S3. Does anyone have suggestions for a suitable boss kit for the Momo Wheels?
Many thanks (and Merry Christmas!).
Tony

Herald or Spitfire should work. It's a 5/8" diameter 36 spline shaft. I've attached a drawing I did some time back that I sent to a U.S. quick release manufacturer (Schroeder Racing) to verify fit. All dimensions are in inches.

I fitted a Momo 370mm semi-dish steering wheel in my +2 a few years back, really pleased with it, the right diameter after a few earlier variations, looks great, and really nice chunky grip.
I even replaced my Ferrari 308 original wheel with a Momo.
I think I ordered from Momo UK, no problem with the correct steering boss.

Thanks Everyone! This has helped me take the decision to get one!
I will try to find a boss from another supplier. Seems like their might be a few possibilities.
If anyone found the that Spitfire Momo boss fitted fine then please let me know.
Great that some of you have the Momo Prototypo and that you are happy with it. They look live lovely steering wheels. I may look at the heritage version as it has toned down leather.
All best

I think Momo's Hub Racing K7800 adapter is the one you want. If you want one they should be easy enough to find but if you have trouble I have a new one.

You could also look at the steering wheels made by Jacob Engineering / Mark Davies Racing in Gloucestershire. They are of fantastic quality.
No affiliation, but it is where I bought the s/wheel for my S1 1/2.

Hi Tony
Here's a picture of the Momo wheel I have on my Europa Special which I think should have the same steering column as your '67 Elan. The boss is an OMP ref OD/1960L0877 which is listed for the Lotus Elan and being all alloy I think it looks a bit neater than some of the others.
Regards
Andy
