Hi slowly getting on with jobs on my E-Bay bargain +2s130/5.I have just noticed today that where the steering column fits through the body there appears to be something missing is there supposed to be a bush or grommet
fitted there.
I sold my last +2 in 1986 and I must say I am quite shocked by the price of the spares.I think I paid ?30 for a set of rotoflex couplings in 1985 and now they are about ?350 that is some price hike.
Thanks for any help Arthur.

Yes, can't find it in the part diagram thou. I believe it is a metal+rubber comb piece. If i remember I'll try take a picture of it as I have my carbs off at the minute.
'73 +2 130/5 RHD, now on the road and very slowly rolling though a "restoration"

My late Plus 2 looked like that, but I refitted the cover plate with it rotated so that the steering and the handbrake cable passed through the plate. I use some 3mm rubber matting to make a gasket.
If you want a rubber gasket just to cover the steering column, then Sue Miller sells them.
