Hi all,
My Wife is trying to decide on what Steering wheel to put on her Elan but we can't find too many pictures of the wheel variants, S3, S4, SE, Sprint, Chapman signature etc! Can anyone help been Googling for ages with not much success!
Cheers,
Neil

There is a very nice wheel picture back in the photo archive from a green S2 coupe restoration folder. It seems to be a Moto Lita that looks close to the original lotus one but much nicer. A little bit more dished, a bit smaller.
And very stylish. (wood rimmed)

... Hi Neil ,
If it's for your wife's Elan(no racer) , no doubt ; go for the original !
Just make sure of the model depending of the year and equipment(std , SE or Sprint) of her baby ...

I think there were only two wheels between the S3 production and the final Elan but I could be wrong. One with the signature, one of similar design without. S1 and S2 models had a wood rim. Any Spitfire wheel fits, and there are many choices. I too would go original, what model do you have?
