Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before but I can't find it in the archive. Can anyone tell me how the side airflow grills are fixed to the shell please, they have two holes which abut the inner skin of the roof is there a particular plastic clip needed?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
Jerry

If I recall correctly the vent grill has a ?U? shaped bracket on it, then there is a fixed nut attached to the centre of the ?U? which a bolt screws into from the inside of the car through a hole in the fibreglass.
Bit of a poor design really as the bolt/nut rust up and breaks off the ?U? bracket, the bolt snaps or the fixed nut becomes ?unfixed? and rotates.

From the back side it show the rivnut quite nicely, they can be ground away and new ones installed with the proper tools.
