Heater pipe routing, 1968 S3

PostPost by: ttaunton » Fri Jul 27, 2012 6:14 pm

Can someone please let me know which hole the heater water pipe goes through in the bulkhead on the Drivers side (UK car)? I think it went through the hole that is adjacent to the where the steering column goes through. However this is perilously close to the steering clamp. There ia another hole that looks tempting, above the pedal box glass fibre, but this is obviously near the rear carb.

thanks chaps

Tony,
Brian's photo is correct. I used a 'P' clamp to hold the heater hose out of the way of the rotating steering clamp.

Colin.
