Heater box

I'm putting a basket case Elan back together and (of course) there are missing pieces. Actually the car was in bags and boxes not baskets - so I suppose I should call it a bags and boxes case.
The first of many problems I am facing is how does one mount the heater box behind the dashboard. Pictures would be appreciated. Is there a bracket I am missing or can fabricate?
Thanks in advance

For those of you interested in my Elan saga I posted my story in the Free parking section. but I'll recap...
My name is Michael Fatsi - from Richmond, Virginia
I have a 1963 S1 it is an early car originally sold on the Isle of Jersey - I do not know how it ended up in the US. This car was featured in a British magazine called "Performance Car" in October 1989 ( the car was living in California at the time as a silver lhd with enormous fender flares and a spider chasis) - after the magazine article the prev. owner disassembled the car and moved abroad - or so the story goes. The car was put in boxes and bags and moved around the country staying with various family members and eventually ended up in Virginia where I found it. During its travels many parts were lost.
I bought the car about 6 years ago I am now on the final stages of resurrection. Wish me luck. Engine and trans were rebuilt - I have repainted the car yellow - chopped off the huge flares and traded the spider chassis to a friend of mine who races an Elan. This will be a street car.

Just took a look at Neil's link. I hit the slide show button and relaxed for about 30 minutes while I took it all in. All I can say is, if you haven't done so already, you owe it to yourself to do so. Nice job Neil. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together (the show as well as the car ).

Hi Michael,
I think I know the person you sold the spider frame to, He might have ditched the heater to save weight, maybe a call to him to see if might part with his bracket ( a simple "L" arrangement is all you would need to tie the dash back into the tunnel ) - or use his for a pattern . looks like this -
