Here is a video showing two different things:
1. Day one - How to reset your password to login for the first time.
2. What does the user control area look like? There are a lot of new features. This will provide a quick overview of them.

Just watched the video. Really looking forward to the new site.
Don't think I have seen anything, but what is your timeframe for going live with the changes?
Thanks for doing all this for the collective,

I have not given a specific date, but the goal is to do so by the end of the month.
I still have three major data validations to complete:
- All topics have been migrated
- All users have been migrated
- All attachments have been migrated
After these have been completed, there is the punch list. Every project has three phases:
1. The punch list is getting longer. Identified to-dos are found faster than they can be resolved.
2. The punch list is stable. The number of to-dos resolved equals the speed of to-dos realized.
3. The punch list is shrinking. To-dos are getting resolved faster than new ones.
Right now, we are in the stable range. The end of the month is looking good. Maybe sooner (knock on wood)

Thank you for the info/update. I look forward to the new site. It looks quite impressive and hopefully it will live up to what you expect.

It was a good day or night or something like that.
Data validations were finished today on the initial load of data (9/11/2003 through 1/6/2025)
My eyes are blurry from the massive Excel documents and vlookups to validate data transferred from system to system.
I'm going to take a nap for a day or two.

please, before we say good 2 day nap Jeff.
Is there any easy way to export 'MESSAGES' to email or other. Maybe the only way to guarantee saving of messages to click and save in a separate format? This is what I have done, I figure I might want to keep contacts through elan.net on here, as opposed to finding address other ways.
Thank You

There isn't a good or clean way to export your messages.
We are migrating all the messages over to the new system. I did a quick check and you have a large number that have already been migrated (almost 300). You shouldn't lose anything in the migration.

I manage a forum that migrated to a new platform a few years ago and know first-hand how much fun it can be to set up everything. Jeff, is there anything you need from the group other than patience? Do you need any testers or help putting together guides for how to do things on the new platform?
Thanks,
John
Thanks,
