I am not sure but I don't think the motor is rebuildable..
This is a standard Smiths part, and you might look at suppliers of Smiths parts, particularly those that supply parts for Triumph or maybe MG. I think the heater is the same as a Triumph Spitfire, but taking photos and sending them to a seller should give you all the information you need.

They're a fairly standard design and not overly complex.. not sure how easy it is to get parts (brushes, etc). If you do dismantle you should clean the shaft before splitting the case so that the bronze bush remains in the case and not stuck to the shaft..

I don't know if it's any different on a +2, but The Veg just went through this and found a modern
motor as a replacement. Can't find the thread at the moment.....
