S3 pre airflow coupe,,,,sunvisors?

My car did not come with sunvisors and I saw the Service Parts list (pub. 1976) shows
sunvisors began on car #5811. Mines 5727. However, the provision for sun visors
are there. No holes in the headline but I'm sure at some point, its been replaced.
No coat hook either.
So, should the car have sun visors or not?

Hi Greg,
Congratulations on getting a pre-airflow coupe! What are your plans with it? Restore to the same high level of your S4 I imagine. ( I met you at LOG 34? in Asheville )
I have 36/5357 pre-airflow coupe. It has sun visors, though I don't have a headliner. Removed by PO for
racing set-up. I think the texture pattern of your headliner is not the original style. ( Other members can confirm or dispute ) I will be interested to follow along in your restoration as I have just begun the tear down of mine.
Good luck.

If of any use, here is a photo of the original location of the coat hooks on my 1968 Federal S4se, on the cardboard pieces on which the coat hooks (and interior lamps) were held which replaced by the upholstery man - I'll put them back next time I redo the headliner, and that will be correct "confetti" style this time....

be tell tale holes for my coat hook
Thanks!
Hi Greg
it may be difficult to zoom enough on the photo once downloaded on the forum but the material still attached to my original cards is "confetti" - long story, but I eventually found a supplier who offers confetti material that is pretty close to the original, actually 2 versions, one with the confettis a bit smaller, the other a bit bigger (the one I would use) : SMS auto Fabrics 350 south redwood st. Canby OR 97013.
