S4 Heater valve

Is there a direct replacement for the S4 heater valve. And who sells them?
I bought one years ago It looked the same but operated different. Can remember the details,but i ended up using the parts to make the old one work again.

It's from an MGB. JAE Parts, rdent, Kamp, and Bean stock them.
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.

There are two types. One with the lever arm on the top and one with it on the bottom. The one on the bottom is the correct Lotus Elan one. Sounds like you modified a top arm one ( which may be the MGB one?) using your old bits from an original Bottom arm one previously.

Here's a pic of the two types together. The MGB one is at the top. I too had to use bits from the top one to refurbish the Lotus one. Not difficult if you have a good shell
