Salut
Checked the archives but couldn't find an answer - anyone know the heater hose diameter for a Plus 2, please?
Looks like the diameter is larger at the heater outlet and then a standard 1/2 inch at the thermostat and water pump?
Merci

I always thought this was an annoyance on the +2, not being able to use a length of standard 5/8" bore heater hose. I was about to make up a hose barb with 5/8" OD for the water pump housing until I found that Steve at Lotus Marques in Australia has them:

I had a long list of parts I needed from Steve so I added a couple of these hose barbs to my order. Interestingly the combination of the 5/8" barb and the correct BSPP thread is very unusual, I could not find one at any hydraulics suppliers. Easy enough to make on a lathe but I like to save time.

Good find, Russ. Cliveboy is looking into making up silicone heater hoses for the +2 so I'll probably go his route.
