Zetecs and CV Drive shafts

PostPost by: gav » Sun Dec 03, 2017 3:56 pm

Hi All

Anyone running a Zetec in a two seater using a CV kit like Kelsport kit (previously Sue Miller's)?

I am toying with a Zetec change but may end up with a little more power than expected and am worried about the adapter by the three eared output shaft.

The drive train will be fine because I am already using an MT75 and Sierra diff. Its just these adapters that worry me slightly

I could have a pair of adapters made in steel and this may be the answer but I wondered if anyone had come up with an alternative solution without switching to bolt on wheels.

Thanks
Gavin

I'm referring to the alloy adapter rings at the outboard end of the CV joints if that assists

Thanks
