But don't ask me about any driving differences etc.
It's been in there since the rebuild & the car wasn't driven too much before that because it was falling apart around my ears

Yes i drove my Elan on the road and raced it for 15 years without and then for the last 15 years with a quaiffe diff.

On the road driven in the dry little difference unless doing things that would get you in trouble with the police these days. In the wet makes the car more controllable and less likely to loose its tail through to much power application coming out of a corner if you are a little heavy footed.

On the track, much better and quicker off the line, better out of corners especially slow entry fast out corners and more controllable in the wet. No real detrimental affects to things like turn in

Just fitted one last month after spraying the car behind with gravel a while ago on a spirited acceleration from a side road,they sure are heavy after a while,Quaife 5z/22t,fitted it into the diff myself and just managed a short trial run before the weather closed in,just to see if there were any noises,was as quiet as the OE diff,will be waiting till next spring to test it

I have one fitted on my +2, I agree with Rohan that it's good for slow in fast out corners (on a circuit). You need to be a real hooligan on the road in the dry to get it to do it's job, but it's saved me embarrassment in the wet on quite a few occasions. Nothng short of a senior supercar can convincingly beat me from the lights either.... Solid driveshafts are a must, flexible joints cause the diff to lock up.

In fact I have on installed on the my Elan coming from USA ,
but I have a "clonck" when I start and turn left between 0 and 10 kms/H
After that its running well
I exchange oil by Redline 75X90 + additive for split differntial without succes
Its installed with a CV joints .

which way I need to investigate ?
