Differential gear ratios

The Ford CWP is 3:55. The NTG is 3.4, so my revs will go up a bit, but my aggro will go down.

I wonder if the 3.1:1 is quieter? I haven't heard a terrible review like yours.... But there is basically no info.

Interestingly, I contacted NTG a few days ago and I haven't heard back. I wonder if they have given up?
