Redline Gearbox and Differential oil

I have read through the posts and opted a while ago to use Redline Diff oil and stuck with a top up of the gearbox with Hypoid Castrol gearbox. After reading the reviews I have decided to drain the gearbox completely and go with MTL in the gearbox bur can anyone advise whether I need to flush the gearbox or does the redline MTL mix compatibly with whatever remnants of the Hypoid oil left in the gearbox.
Thanks
Mike

I'm not aware of incompatibility.
You could put a splash in with the drain still open to flush virtually the last of the other oil out, but to my mind I would just get on with the new oil once the gearbox has been drained fully.

I have done it. Compatibility is a non-issue.

Cheers for the information I just need to find a long pipe now to pop it in. I got a syringe originally that is supposed to be used for removing and inserting oil but the bore on tge syringe and the pipe is so small the back pressure off the syringe is joke.
Thanks,
Mike

Drain old oil from the bottom.
Remove the gear lever gaitor.
Unscrew the gear lever cup.
Remove the gear lever.
Pour the oil in the opening like a gentleman....
Reverse the procedure.
Happy Lotusing.
