Cv drive shafts

Hi all
The re-build of my 68 +2 is slowly creeping along and am now considering cv drive shafts, probably sue millers.
My question is, I have refitted the aframe and hub and before I put in the new strut insert and Spring can I fit the cv drive shaft or do I have to fit it when rear suspension is fitted?
The body is off the chassis
Thanks
Ian

Ian,
I thought I could do this mod myself, and I have, but it was more difficult than I thought. In the end it would have been cheaper to have bought from Sue. Since then I have heard various people speak of fitting problems, and one who reported premature wear of the drive shaft where the spline engages with the CV joint. My car is not yet in one piece, so I do not know if my own mod works properly.
If you want to discuss further please send me a PM and we could have a phone conversation.
