cab exhaust fan "MOD?"

PostPost by: h20hamelan » Sun Apr 15, 2012 3:36 am

I would like to remove the cabin-air from my +2.
I purpose to install a "small computer fan" in the venting behind the doors
Would be powered by the interior rear lighting
A sealed housing would draw the in-cab air and expel it.

Some airflow would help?

any thoughts!

thanks

FWIW - I always thought the shape and position of the rear vents together with the fact that the air is fan assisted as it comes in at the front did all that?

Salut

I would of thought that improving the heater fan would be more beneficial - something stronger and quieter would increase air renewing and also improve heating in winter.

cheers to both
and yes the blower fan should push air to where a hole or a escape path would be
my thought is that if the boot is blocked with vapour barrier, the blower may find the right place to expel the air.
and I for one, do not want exhaust or any extra scents in cabin if possible

people have put sun-roof's in em. and there seems to be some discontent with breathability of the +2
thus pushing the air out!
the side venting is there for a reason, it is just not possible for it to function properly because of the tight spacing and that the trunk/boot is not sealed.

any thoughts please

thanks
